The National Ploughing Championships is one of Europe’s largest outdoor agricultural trade exhibitions. 2016 saw the most successful Championships ever with 283,000 attendees and over 1,700 delighted exhibitors. The 86th National Ploughing Championships will take place in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly from September 19th-21st 2017. The Innovation Arena this year is located right in the center of the action, guaranteeing a strong footfall of visitors.
The NPA Innovation Arena is the ideal place to demonstrate ground-breaking developments, whether they are back-yard inventions or professional innovations, to thousands of Innovation Arena visitors. Changes for 2017
- This year sees a bigger international involvement in the Innovation Arena, with buyers from across the world attending the event. A dedicated seminar will allow our clients in Enterprise Ireland and potential innovators, to learn about the potential for growth in the global market. Specialist speakers will deliver short presentations on what they see as the potential for Irish products from New York to Sydney.
- Finalists to the event will receive complimentary access to all the informative seminars running in the Arena throughout the 3 days. Topics will include ‘Brexit, Innovation and Funding, Careers in Agri-Innovation, and the Global Market seminar.
- The structure of the Arena has also changed, to an all indoor event, with the biggest ever Innovation Marquee allowing the pride of Irish machinery manufacturing innovation to be showcased down the center of the exhibit, surrounded by exhibition shell stands.
